Upgraded to a free budget room with a garden view - what a nice surprise! The staff was always there to lend a hand whenever I needed it. The warm weather made my solo stay even better. 😊

The hotel was very peaceful and we very much enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere and also the excellent location close to the old part of Ghent. We were delighted in every respect with the hotel.

Amazing ambience! Very friendly and helful staff. Helped me to print my boarding pass. I forgot my wallet in the internet room and it was still there! So a very safe place. Very clean showers. Nice to have free tea & coffee on each floor. Very close to the old city.
Luckily I always travel with earplugs and an eye mask. Think the hotel should offer people that upon check in as the walls and ceilings are very thin. People staying in rooms above are very noisy when walking on the wooden floors. I could hear the person in the next room talking on Skype. Perhaps there should also be a time when everyone should be as quiet as possible and close their doors as quiet as possible, E.G. after 10pm. People staying above my room (slot 2.7) were partying until 1am and I could hear them even with my earplugs in. I also think the price of eur46 is a bit too high for the hostel rooms, should be around eur30. Pity the breakfast is so expensive (eur17).

The location was great and wonderful, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a delightful museum. I stayed in a modest and neat room with a promised view of the garden, big windows, as expected.

Convenient location, best price, good for those who plan to spend most of the time out.
The room was a bit dark and quite small. Breakfast way too expensive.

We enjoyed our stay at the charming guesthouse in the heart of the city. The historical ambiance, including the chapel, added a unique touch to our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, creating a comfortable and tidy environment for us. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the old center of town on foot. The option to choose our breakfast preferences was a nice touch as well. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

The size of the room, the architecture, the polite people at the reception.
I thought breakfast should have been included for the price we paid.

Excellent location, beautiful monastery building, inviting atmosphere (staff light-up candles throughout hallways and play suitable music),very good breakfast (15 euros though).
Room was very simple, which I expected. It would have been nice to have more than 1 towel and more ample supply of toiletries.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
